Privacy Policy

All personal information received by Opioid Justice regarding either the infants, children, parents, custodians, or any individual or entity whatsoever responding to information requests regarding Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) or issues related to prescription opioid addiction shall be held as CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION, and as it applies, information protected by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). This information is protected by order of the United States Federal Court allowing such information herein requested to be revealed only to the Court and others bound by the Court’s Protective Order. The Federal Court has made it a very serious violation to make public any of such information collected by Opioid Justice, unless specifically authorized in writing by the individual party. There is no greater protection than this: Information provided via a consultation form to Opioid Justice will never be disclosed without both the individual and the Court agreeing to allow for that release.
